Chelsea Financial Services is continuing its commitment to supporting the neurodiverse community by sponsoring AusomeTech’s 2026 month-long art exhibition, “Unspoken Brilliance: The Artists with Autism Exhibit.” The highly anticipated event will take place at the College of Staten Island Library Gallery in Staten Island, New York, with opening night scheduled for June 25, 2026, and the closing “Proclamation Day” celebration on July 25, 2026.
The exhibition provides a professional platform for local neurodiverse artists to showcase their creativity and original artwork. Hosted by AusomeTech, the annual exhibit continues its tradition of honoring the memory of Diego Martinez, known throughout the community as the beloved “MTA Legend.”
“Our goal this year is to foster an inclusive sanctuary where creativity and community meet,” said Darlene Bowman, founder of AusomeTech. She also thanked Chelsea Financial Services for its ongoing sponsorship, emphasizing that the support helps provide young adults with autism and cognitive learning disabilities a professional environment to showcase their talents.
Supporting Neurodiverse Artists Through Community Partnership
This year’s exhibition will feature artwork from LifeStyles for the Disabled and the Creative Exchange Program at the College of Staten Island. Guests attending the event will also enjoy food services provided by Grace on Wheels, an initiative by The Grace Foundation.
John Pisapia, President of Chelsea Financial Services, shared his enthusiasm for continuing the partnership with AusomeTech. “We continue to support AusomeTech’s mission, and events like this neurodiverse art exhibit can really bring our community together. Art is powerful,” Pisapia stated.
Founded by veteran educator Darlene Bowman, AusomeTech was created to address the lack of post-secondary technology education opportunities available to students with alternate assessment needs. Through partnerships, internships, and technology-focused programs, the organization continues to empower young adults with autism and other cognitive learning disabilities.
Event Details and Community Celebration
The opening night celebration for Unspoken Brilliance will take place on June 25, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the College of Staten Island Library Rotunda. The exhibition itself will remain on display from June 29 through July 23, welcoming school groups and community visitors throughout the month.
The month-long celebration will conclude with AusomeTech’s 5th Annual “Proclamation Day” event on July 25, 2026, featuring keynote speaker Aneva Ezell, whose advocacy for empowerment and inclusion continues to inspire the neurodiverse community.
